In order to progress through the story, participants must create special tools and vehicles. The free-to-play multiplayer option allows partners to interact with each other by swapping items or sharing oxygen tanks. You need a scuba tank or bathyscaphe to travel underwater. The gameplay is based on mechanics such as maintaining the hero’s health level, controlling thirst, hunger and oxygen. Dive into the water and encounter the many creatures that live at the bottom of the ocean. The gameplay is a pacific ocean survivor. Players can connect online to go through the storyline together.

But if you see the darn thing in game, you'll know why I was screaming. I was being chased by a Reaper, screaming for dear life, and I woke up my dad and it both confused and angered him. I would not recommend playing this game at night when other people in the house are sleeping, though. Then, there were moments where she outright terrified me. Subnautica is an underwater open world adventure game. She had a bit of a snarky, GLaDOS-esque tone at times that was really entertaining to me. And I love the dry humor that's included throughout the game, particularly in the PDA. I can't not mention the amazing music, too it really helps with the overall atmosphere. The climax of the story genuinely made me cry. I thankfully don't have thalassophobia, but there were moments where I felt a hint of it - namely when nighttime came and the water was just pitch black all the way down, making me unable to see anything even with my flashlight.

Even after seeing everything in the playthrough, playing the game myself was awesome! It has such an interesting story and great worldbuilding. Overall, Subnautica Windows 10 free is an excellent video game that offers both a thrilling and immersive gameplay experience. Before I watched a playthrough of this game, I thought it was just a kind of Minecraft-like exploration game set in the sea.
